It’s a New Year in our “new normal” and while some familiarities like the promise and excitement of a New Year bring great inspiration, we are also still learning how to navigate life within new circumstances.

So, we wanted to check on you, to see if you may need a mental adjustment to quiet any anxiety and build a more positive and focused mind?

If you are ready to get some wind in your sails, and start moving in the direction of your dreams, the first thing to do is STOP getting emotionally involved with bad or unsettling news.

This is imperative, because the subconscious mind cannot differentiate between that which is real and that which is imagined.

If you are imagining things you don’t want, such as getting sick, losing your job, or not earning the amounts of money you want, your subconscious mind must accept it as real.

Your subconscious mind can only accept what you give to it. So, instead of putting your attention on the news (local, country, or global), your current circumstances, or what other people say or do, we suggest you choose a better way…

Start to THINK!

Did you know, you have the ability to accept or reject the ideas which are flowing into your conscious mind.  So, for any negative information that is coming in, you have the ability to say, “Get out of here! That’s not what I want.”

But do you know something?

Ninety percent of us don’t do that!  Instead of recognising negative thoughts or feelings and telling them to go away, people leave their subconscious mind wide open and let whatever is going on around them right in.

Remember, the subconscious mind cannot differentiate between what is real and what you imagine, so it acts on anything we do not reject and get emotionally involved with, therefore we begin to accept and impress these negative thoughts or feelings as our current reality.

Why do most people live their lives this way?

Sadly it’s because we are programmed NOT to think.

If people were thinking, they’d STOP talking about bad news and hard times. They’d also quit spacing out and scrolling on their phone for hours on end and doing the same things over and over, looking for a better life, and expecting different results.

To take ACTION, we need to reset our mindsets for success.

Change your loyalties

So, what do you do if you want to reset your mindset and sky rocket in 2022 and beyond?

Start by asking yourself one extremely important questions, “What do I really, really want?”

Then, start to think about the details of how you want to feel each day and how you want to live your life.  Don’t think about it based on what you’re comfortable with or what you think you can do.  Think from an entirely new perspective, come from your dream, not from your limited self.

Pull out a blank sheet of paper and make a list of all the incredible things that come to mind as you truly let your imagination flow. When you’re finished, pick the item which excites you MOST on your list and set it as your goal.

Why do all this?

Because, as Robert Heinlein said, “In the absence of clearly-defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia, until we ultimately become enslaved by it.”

We recommend you do it because, if you want to rise above your current circumstances and the current uncertainties, you need a goal that is so exciting it will make you want to jump out of bed each morning!

Instead of thinking or talking about things you don’t want — you reset yourself to become loyal to your goal, and it will pull you upward and push you forward.

Once you have a clearly-defined goal in mind, you will be ready to…

Hit the reset button 🎯

You can reset your mindset by taking the wheel and changing what you let into your mind.

Always remember, YOU are in charge of and entirely responsible for your thoughts and what you tell your mind.  You don’t have to keep thinking the same old thoughts.  You can originate new thoughts, and, through self-talk, you can tell your mind anything you want.

Tell your mind a new story by doing the following three things, and it will respond accordingly:

1.  Impress — There are only two ways to impress an idea into your subconscious mind.  One is with a sudden impact; the other is with repetition.

Using repetition, repeat this affirmation every day for the next three weeks:

I willingly release the thoughts and things that clutter my mind, and I allow Spirit to work through me and express itself in a far greater way. I recognize that my results and my being are not the same things, and I reaffirm that I am a creative person.

I go forward in a spirit of expectation and understand that I cannot know all of what the universe has in store for me, so I will remain open to all things. I am so happy and grateful now that the good, which I desire, is worthy of me. I move forward with the joyful expectation that I will achieve my goal.

2.  Mirror Work —  Every time you look in the mirror, stop looking at yourself as only the physical body you see in the mirror, but start seeing and thinking of yourself as the spiritual being that you are.

You’ve got perfection inside you.  It is the spiritual essence of who you are.  Sometimes that perfection shines into your consciousness as a want or desire, and when it does, listen to it.

Your deepest desires and wants come from your heart, your spiritual center.  Understand that an urge to be, do, or have more is Spirit wanting to work through you to express itself in a more significant way.

3.  Evaluate — Take a look at what you’re doing every day, your habitual behaviors.  Make a list of all how you generally go about your average day.  We find it is best to list them into categories of “Productive” vs “Non-Productive Activities.”  Then, pick one behavior which is not serving you, and decide you are going to change it.  (Note: Trying to change too many things at once won’t work.  So, pick just one or possibly two behaviors.)

For example, if you’re sleeping late every morning and you want to get up earlier, here’s how you might change it.

Start by getting up 15 minutes earlier every day for a week. Then, the next week, set your alarm for15 minutes earlier. Keep doing this until you’re getting up at least one hour earlier than you are now.

Then, use that “extra” time to study, visualise, or use this new “personal time” to do another activity which will help you shift your mindset.

These may seem like very simple exercises — but they have power beyond their words.  Use them, and you’ll start to worry less and build a more positive and goal-focused mind and begin taking Action towards your goals.

Once you learn the impactful skill of resetting your mind, it will allow your mind to be yours forever.

Thats’ definitely something worth celebrating!

To your success,
