I have a question for you…
Do you believe you can actually achieve your dreams?
If you’re like most people, the answer is sadly no.
Well, here’s the truth…
You see, it doesn’t matter whether you want to put in a swimming pool, buy a pony for the kids, a Maserati, start a successful business, or find a loving relationship. It all comes to you in the same way— by law. It is a science which produces consistent and predictable results.
So I bet you’re asking, what can I do to ensure my dreams are not just dreams….?
Awareness is Key
Often times, many successful people do not fully understand how they got there. That’s known as “unconscious competence”— which is doing something well without awareness of how you do it.
Here’s why it’s so important…
If a successful person is an “unconscious competent,” they can’t pass what they know on to their children because they don’t understand what they are doing—success is just a habit. So, you may have parents which are consistently creating the life they want with children who are struggling.
However, if a person is a conscious competent—aware of what they’re doing and can explain it, they can show others how to get what they want. When you’re consciously competent, you can connect the dots that led to your success.
Two things you must know
As humans, we are designed to want better, and to want more. *And Remember: Wanting better, more, or some of the “good life” isn’t a bad thing! It’s great to want more because it means you have developed a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo. Wanting more, can mean you are wanting to GROW and develop.
So, to get what YOU want, you need to know two things…
1. Where you are now and
2. Where you want to go
Your Starting Point
Let’s start with where you are now. We all have to begin from where we are today.
Take a few minutes to think about the results you are currently getting. Look at your relationships, the amount of money you are making, the state of your health, etc. Look at them from a neutral place—not positive or negative. Just be honest with yourself, so you can determine where you are.
I want you to be clear that your current results are what you deserve because they’re what you’re in harmony with.
However, the beautiful thing is no matter where you are right now, you are nowhere near where you can go. You can go anywhere you want to go.
You might not believe that right now, and that’s okay…
But you know what?
My mentor Bob Proctor believes and he believes in me! So in the meantime, it’s ok to borrow your mentor’s belief until you develop it for yourself. And that’s what I’m asking you to do right now — borrow my belief in you until you demonstrate it for yourself with your new results.
What do You Really Want!?
Now, it’s time to take the second step…
I want you to think about what you really want. Not what you think you can achieve. Not what your current or previous results indicate. No, go inside and start to fantasise about what you really want— as if there were truly no limits.
Set your sights far above what is reasonable… or practical… or probable. Aim for the extraordinary, for that which is precious to you and stirs emotion inside of you. What excites you enough to move you into action?
You see, if you’re not in love with your dream, it is seriously doubtful that you’ll ever achieve it! Passion starts the process, it is the ignition. Then you want to get emotionally involved with your goal. This emotion is what keeps you going. This is why it’s called a “burning desire” it’s something you can feel within yourself as something you not only wish to achieve, but you actually burn to live your true purpose.
Don’t worry about how it’s going to happen. Leave that up to Universal law. Just dream it, fall madly in love with the idea, and make a committed decision that it is how you’re going to live no matter what. Feel it as if it has already happened.
If you take these steps, I promise that the details of “how” to achieve your dream will take care of themselves. And it will happen by law.
Here’s to you and your success!
